Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solution: AIDANT

DATA DOC, MD is committed to utilizing artificial intelligence for the betterment of healthcare and believes AIDANT has the potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry. The impact of AIDANT is that it will significantly improve the quality of life and access to dental and medical healthcare services for underserved populations, especially persons under 19 years of age. Our "why" for developing this solution is that no other child should die from a cavity.

Our vision is to provide an AI solution built with equity at the forefront. AIDANT's intended goal is to identify outliers (anomalies) for when a Medicaid or Children's Health Insurance Program beneficiary does not receive medically necessary treatment; in other words, inadequate or subpar dental and medical care. AIDANT's purpose is not to determine the reason(s), but simply to identify every instance of the above inequitable activity. 

Given AIDANT's disruptive and innovative approach, AIDANT was selected as 1 of 4 winners (out of 53 highly competitive submissions) for the General Services Administration's 2023 AI Healthcare Challenge!
